When it was time to dress up and revamp this aging bathroom, the Bathroom by KCBR Design  |  Remodel team was up for the challenge as they love to create unique spaces for their clients.

Abby Myers, Director of Business Development, notes, “Our talented in-house Kansas City interior designers work closely with you to understand your lifestyle, wants and needs for the space and bring their expertise to create a perfect and functional space that will bring you joy. They make it a fun process. Our motto is ‘Your Project, Our Passion.’”

This featured bathroom space is a prime example. After being in their home for several years, the homeowners decided it was time to indulge in some luxury and were more than excited with this stunning, award-winning bathroom remodel!

The overall clean, yet elegant, design and sleek refined black vanities were the desired style of the clients. This rich, intense floating vanity is a definite showstopper. Add in the creative heated floor that extends into the shower for an over-the-top accessory.

“Because the space in the bathroom offered a lot of space to work with, we decided to use the larger format tiles on the floor surrounding the zero-entry shower so it all flowed! They like that nice clean, classy look,” she continued.

The design of the full, clear shower makes it feel like you are part of the room. Six-foot, heavy glass French shower doors  resulted in a high-end look that feels inviting and open, while enhancing the overall space. And you can see the full design of the shower too, and its wainscoting. The tiled ceiling and gold Kohler fixtures completed the look.

“You want that shower space with it being so custom to tie into the rest of the bathroom, too,” Myers expressed.

Adding the large-format tiles makes this ample space even more welcoming. The floating vanities add airiness and give a nod to the continuing wall tile underneath. The expansive room allowed for the creation of his-and-her spaces. She has accessory drawers, hot tool drawers, and a makeup seating area, while he has an oversized mirror and ample counter space.

“The free-standing bathtub replaced a massive oversized jacuzzi tub and built out that space, and lightened it up,” Myers continued. “The windows are no longer blocked, so plenty of natural light streams in.” The addition of well-placed windows and custom lighted mirrors brighten the area.

The gold-tone heated towel bar allows the homeowners to wrap themselves in cozy warmth upon stepping out of a relaxing soak, adding the perfect finishing touch to this luxurious bathroom.
