Syler Construction

When it comes to providing superior service, craftsmanship, and quality, award-winning builder Garret Syler of Syler Construction, does not really have to put much effort into that approach. It is just something he does naturally and is something at which he and his team continually excel, stemming from Syler’s overall philosophy on how he conducts business.

“We are extremely hands-on and deal directly with each client throughout the entire building process,” emphasized Garret Syler, co-owner, alongside his father Jerry Syler. “We are very structured in our process and strive to ensure we are all on the same page so we can work together to build that dream home.”

When you see a Syler home, you understand that approach. In addition to incorporating current trends in terms of design and presentation, he truly does have a signature style. While his floor plans adhere to a strong element of functionality, each one also showcases hints of personality, unique features, and stunning appointments you just will not find in other homes.

Such notable details include intricate vaulted ceilings, unique  pendant lights, artistic accent walls, 12-foot double sliding doors, and so much more. Syler can definitely flex his design savvy muscles to incorporate that decided “wow” factor into each home he builds.

One of his jaw-dropping floor plans is the Richmond. This reverse 1.5 story model at Lake Viking offers approximately 3,467 square feet of luxury living space. The Richmond has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, spacious rooms, outstanding trim work, and a lovely feeling of openness. The kitchen is a standout on its own, with quartz countertops, an expansive island, and a walk-in pantry. If you enjoy entertaining, this is the dream space for you. The Richmond is not only gorgeous, but practical for any family with the conveniently located mud room just off the kitchen. You can kick off your shoes and hang up your coat as you walk into your own personal slice of heaven on earth.

But there is more to the Richmond than meets the eye. In fact, Syler can magically transform its footprint to meet your vision, needs, and lifestyle.

“I call this one of my hybrid plans,” he explained. “We can easily modify it to accommodate your needs, such as adding another office anywhere in the plan if you work from home.”

Among the exciting modifications Syler made to this plan include a larger basement, bar, and the incorporation of an office on the main level.

“I moved the main floor guest bedroom down a bit further and created an office next to it,” he indicated.

Syler also installed car siding in the ceilings of both screened-in decks and herringbone car siding in two interior ceilings. There is also a glass wine cellar on the lower level.

While this model can be found at Lake Viking and in the Meadows at Greenfield (his own development) and Thousand Oaks, Syler will build the Richmond anywhere in town.

“We are happy to build this plan wherever the client wants,” said Syler, who provides a wide range of selections for upgraded finishes and works with a trim professional who is equal parts carpenter and artisan.

“Between our team and our subcontractors, we have a great system all working together to deliver the best product,” he noted. “We create the ambiance of a custom home with the option of available upgrades.”

At the same time, Syler maintains a simple base price from which clients can work as they choose the upgrades they desire. Syler and his team are hands-on throughout the entire build process and are the experts at pulling everything together and thinking outside the box to provide that added edge and inspiration.

Among the communities in which Syler currently builds are The Palisades, Montebella, Thousand Oaks, Davidson Farms of Shoal Creek, Eagle Point of Shoal Creek, Staley Farms, and The Meadows at Greenfield.
