Mitch began his professional career in television news, working initially in Wisconsin for 10 years and then returning to Kansas to take a job in Topeka as an evening anchor. From there, he entered the Kansas City market, working as a reporter for Fox 4 WDAF-TV and then for KSHB-TV Channel 41. At that particular station, Mitch made the jump from news to entertainment hosting The List, a   half-hour nationally syndicated show featuring local and national highlights but with a strong emphasis on what was happening right here in the metro area.

“I loved it, as it was all about community, focusing on things people really cared about,” recalled Mitch, who later had the opportunity to return to the newsroom, but his passion for other pursuits took the lead. He also frequently guest co-hosted KC Live, a lifestyle show that eventually lead to the opportunity to host a local home show, which he admits is what planted the seed for his interest in real estate.

In 2014, he started Toto TV Media, a production company specializing in video marketing. This endeavor expanded his networking base which ultimately opened the door for him to make connections within the real estate arena. The fit could not have been better.

“I enjoy this business, as I love looking at homes and building relationships with people,” he noted. Plus, the skills Mitch acquired within the newsroom have easily transitioned to his role within real estate.

“I am not afraid to knock on doors,” he asserted. Translation? He enjoys doing the investigative work and getting the lay of the land, so to speak, as he considers the right options for his clients based on their needs, wants and lifestyle. “You can learn so much when hearing about the community from a neighbor. It is also great way to get a sense of the environment and of the investment the client is about to make.”

Mitch understands one of the main secrets to success it to not only have your heart in your business but your business in your heart. To that end, he places a strong emphasis on executing excellence through his attention to the details.

Organized and efficient, Mitch is highly detail-oriented, down to the last number, quotation mark and period. He covers the bases for his clients in myriad ways, assuring no stone is left unturned.

“I really enjoy putting together the contract,” he smiled. “I get so excited with the process, tending to the smallest of details.” 

While Mitch makes his clients his first priority, he also appreciates creating a relationship with the agent on the other end.

“It is important to work together to accomplish the main goal,” he noted.

To complement his real estate business, Mitch is also in the process of developing a local home show called Dream Dwellings Kansas City. His intimate knowledge of the production arena, coupled with his strong communication skills and warm, friendly approach guarantee a winning combination for both viewers and potential clients alike. 

Mitch earns the respect of his clients by working solely on their behalf, providing extensive market knowledge and dedication to their desired outcomes. He strives daily to exceed their expectations.
