Albert Einstein once noted, “Strive not to be a success but rather to be of value.” Perhaps behind that sentiment he was suggesting we do less but be more. Allison Rank seems to have a keen grasp on these concepts. Granted, she is a highly successful and widely respected real estate agent who always appears to be in constant motion, but she is not one to tip the scales in one direction only when it comes to the work-life balance, which many try to achieve but fail in their approach. Allison, however, should write the book on this topic. In fact, the motto by which she lives her life is “you live the life you build for yourself.” By all accounts, she clearly practices what she preaches.

As a mom of two young kids and in a loving relationship, Allison enjoys a well-rounded life that includes her passion for family and for her career without either one completely overshadowing the other.
Allison, a professional real estate agent who is ranked in the Top 1% of Realtors in Kansas City and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri, oversees The Rank Team with ReeceNichols Real Estate. Her ambitious team includes five agents beyond herself. More than just a team, however, these agents are like family, and Allison takes great pride in developing her team members to realize their true strengths and abilities.
“I am proud of bringing up my team,” she emphasized, giving a nod towards team members Colleen Roberts, Erica Heath, Breanna Hendrickson, Jason Rakoski, and Mike Simonett.
In addition to prioritizing her work and her team, Allison is a quick study when it comes to scheduling her priorities rather than prioritizing what’s on her schedule. She credits that ambition to her life partner and his unwavering support of her and their children.
“For years I struggled to connect with a partner who met my ambition with enthusiasm rather than annoyance,” Allison reflected. “Being in a healthy relationship means growing together. As a person who is in constant pursuit of improvement, I wanted and needed someone who supported my desires to be better but more importantly, inspired me to be better, too. I am constantly in awe of him and how he does it all…businessman, father, partner, and friend.”
When it comes to her work priorities, Allison keeps a steady finger on the pulse of two current projects: The Plaza Heights community near downtown and The Villas of Piper Valley close to the Legends in Kansas City, Kansas. While the Plaza Heights community is nearly completed, the Villas of Piper Valley continue to grow.
An Epcon Community, the Villas of Piper Valley is characterized by luxury ranch homes with open, modern floor plans that include abundant sunlight. Each home is strategically designed for single-level living. Everything homeowners would need are available on one floor, which includes the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, laundry, and storage. Design flexibility, luxurious options, and generous storage spaces are the main pillars of their overall layout. Square footage of these villas ranges from 1,640 to just over 2,800, boasting two to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, a first-floor owner’s suite, gourmet kitchen with island, optional second floor bonus suite, and so much more. The price point for these villas begins at $399,000 and other amenities will include a club house, a pickleball court, and copious walking trails.
Even though Allison keeps busy and always strives to give each client her personal best, she refuses to lose sight of her own goals of raising her family, building a new home, and just enjoying life in general. She realizes life is never perfect, or, for that matter, not always easy, but she has developed a unique skill set of always turning any stumbling blocks over into stepping stones. That expertise is what makes her a great choice for her clients. She is relatable, has the necessary experience, enjoys what she does, and will make sure that when she works hard, it is the result of passion, not stress. She provides peace of mind to her clients while keeping her life in (relatively) perfect harmony. (Hey! It’s a work in progress!)
