LIGHTING

Go big or go home. We’ve all heard it. In the case of lighting, going “big” just might be the right solution for your space; the perfect way to make a big design statement, add that “wow” factor we crave. While not trendy, statement lighting is definitely trending and has been for quite some time now. It is not going anywhere. What is exciting is that it cuts across all design styles: traditional, transitional, modern or coastal, for example. You’ll also see it everywhere: small and large spaces, entryways, bedrooms, offices and dining areas. Overscale lighting is making bold statements over kitchen islands. If you have high ceilings, simple detailing and looking for a dose of drama, you may want to look to this trend in over scale lighting.
