At the intersection of creativity, inspiration, and ingenuity, you will discover Syler Construction. Regarded for its exceptional craftsmanship and service, this award-winning home builder understands the value of working with clients every step of the way, while watching their dream home come to life.

“We are extremely hands-on and deal directly with each client throughout the entire building process,” emphasized Garret Syler, co-owner, alongside his father Jerry Syler. “We are very structured in our process and strive to ensure we are all on the same page so we can work together to build that dream home.”

With more than 200 years of combined construction experience on this hard-working team, Syler Construction maintains a keen focus on what is trending in terms of overall design and style, which includes both interior and exterior elements.

More than just incorporating extraordinary functionality into each home, Syler has a full toolbox of ideas they utilize when installing that undeniable “wow” factor into each home. An example would be the Tetris vault ceiling, designed like an intricate maze with pendant lights dropped in to create a unique and beautiful feature. Boxed beams, accent walls, expansive kitchen, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace flanked with custom cabinets, and 12-foot double sliding doors that lead out to a covered or screened-in deck are also hallmarks of Garret’s design savvy and prowess.

“We are available for our clients from start to finish and remain sharp about looking at inspirations and putting new trends together,” emphasized Syler. “We are experts at pulling everything together and doing some of those things outside the box. In a sense, we like to be an inspiration to others.”

Even as various challenges have been encountered in the past couple of years due to the global pandemic, Syler Construction continues to keep pace with demand while refusing to waver from quality production, timely work, and controlled budgets at top of mind.

“We take pride in keeping the most accurate monthly budgets possible with our base prices,” said Syler. “It’s challenging, but we do it.”

The extra time they dedicate to each project only serves to strengthen the talents and expertise of this team, as they continue to stay in-the-know with all their exceptional vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

“We meet expectations and stay ahead of the game in order to plan for these delays,” explained Syler, who refuses to operate in the last minute. “We are straight shooters and are up-front with our clients, always communicating how to move forward through these times.”

Syler credits his outstanding team with the express ability to navigate each project seamlessly. This includes Interior Designer Megan Seise and Project Manager Chad Burkhart.

“We are very team oriented and both Megan and Chad always bring ideas to make the product even better,” noted Syler, who also loves it when clients bring their own ideas to the table. “Megan has evolved to be an integral part of our business. She handles the selections while Chad delivers the final touch to obtain that exceptional craftsmanship standard.”

Syler Construction recently rolled out two new ranch-style plans that have quickly captured the hearts of home buyers: the Charleston and the Aspen.

A smaller ranch design, the Charleston offers 2,090 square feet of comfortable living space and includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage. Strong focal points in this home include spacious rooms, superior trim work and an open floor plan. The kitchen boasts an expansive island, granite countertops and a walk-in pantry. A mud room is located just off the entry. The master suite seamlessly connects to the laundry room, and impressive exterior finishing features include wood and stone appointments.

The popular Aspen, a larger ranch plan with a finished basement, provides 4,080 square feet of comfort and style with five bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a three-car garage. Its contemporary stylings and universal design architecture perfectly complement all the premier interior details, such as a large main level laundry room, flex suite, dining room or office on main level and a lower-level wet bar. There is a cozy breakfast room and wine nook just off the kitchen, and the elegant master bathroom invites you to relax with its free-standing tub and glass-enclosed, double head walk-in shower. You will feel right at home the moment you cross the threshold.

While Syler Construction builds primarily in the Northland area, this company’s reach extends to many parts of the metro area and some of their premier designs can be found in many prominent subdivisions, including Thousand Oaks, Davison Farms at Shoal Creek, Eagle Point Preserve at Shoal Creek, Staley Farms and in his own development, The Meadows at Greenfield, in Kearney, Missouri. Syler Construction also does custom builds on acreage in rural areas.
