TILE TRENDS IN THE BATHROOM
Remodeling is on the rise and many homeowners are investing in improving bathrooms, our safe space, where we can enjoy solitude and unwind from daily stressors in a nice hot shower or luxurious warm bath. The recent quarantine required us to spend more time in our home environments and increased our awareness of the need to update our homes. There are current trends in tile that can help update the bathroom and create the spa-like environment of our dreams. Interesting shapes are being introduced into bathroom spaces, including dynamic, geometric forms as well as soft, organic silhouettes. Warmer tones like taupe and brown are returning to the color palette, and the timeless relaxation of blue continues to trend in a big way. Large format tile is becoming very popular, as many homeowners want to see fewer grout joints. Large sizes include 18×36, 24×24 and even 24×48, which greatly decrease the distraction of grout lines. Tile is a great way to update your space, increase your home value and there have never been so many exciting options to choose from.
