2017 has been an incredible year, filled with exclusive features that could only be found in Kansas City Homes & Style magazine.
Stepping into backyards that sweep you into a paradise you’ll never want to leave, our July/August issue took you to two that had been transformed into a resort-like oasis yet still offered the relaxed comforts of home. We also shared a dream home with amazing lake views that is right here in Kansas City, proving once again that you don’t need to go far to feel like you’re at a resort far away.
September brought you into the TV world. HGTV’s House Hunters came to town and KCH&S had the exclusive feature with the adorable couple and their Realtor. AND it was rumored by the film crew, we were the first publication to ever be allowed to photograph the actual taping, giving you a view from behind the scenes. We then jumped to two local celebrities’ home – Kathy Quinn from Fox 4 and her hubby Ian Byrne, lead singer with the well-known Irish group The Elders. October had us warming up our fingers and toes by backyard fires. Fireplaces and firepits are the trend and nothing beats spending the evening relaxing outside with friends while enjoying a crisp refreshing Hoptail. Not sure what that is? And what better way to end the year than with America’s favorite couple from The Bachelor in Paradise, Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper! Another exclusive for KCH&S, we’ll take you inside their new home and have you meet this now family (the stork brought them a new baby girl!) in our November/December issue. The November/December issue launch party on November 30th at the Gaslight Grill was a great success! Participants enjoyed small bites and wine while celebrating the year’s end issue along with the Real Estate Executives recognition.
