C H E E R S T O 2 0 2 5 ! The holidays zipped by and now we’re right back into the rush of a fresh new year.
As I get back into the groove, I’m reaching for a few things in my closet to keep me organized, cozy, and stylish – yes, you can have all three! We’re not compromising in 2025.
Starting with Cozy: a trench coat, but make sure it’s a bit heavier than your lightweight spring versions. This will stand up to those above-freezing days without being too bulky (but still keep your puffers and parkas close by for the occasional arctic blast). I love a classic camel; it goes with just about anything in your wardrobe.
Next is Stylish: this outfit is sophisticated and timeless while still hitting on the trends. Burgundy is in every store window and on the homepage of every clothing retailer. It’s so rich! Cherry cola, cabernet, deep ruby – any of these shades are exactly what I’m reaching for right now.
This outfit leans into that with a burgundy turtleneck top, a matching suede belt over black straight-leg jeans, and merlot leather pumps with a gold buckle.
Last but not Least: Organized. I love my tiny handbags and crossbody purses, but sometimes a girl needs her space. Enter this gorgeous bordeaux leather tote. Super hot color, super functional, everyone wins. It’s big enough to stow your laptop, water bottle, and all the odds and ends you need to get through the day. And it makes such a statement against any of your outerwear options.
