We work with both the architect and engineer to make sure they are designing the house within the budget we provided. Many times, owners spend thousands of dollars on a plan for a contractor to estimate. Once the contractor estimates the drawings, it typically is over budget. They then would have to spend more money to redesign the dream home they created.”



To overcome current market challenges, they have started another company called Syler Homes. This company provides more competitive pricing for first– and second–time home buyers. These houses are within the $550k to $750k range.

When it comes to the remodeling side of the business, he shared that his company handles the remodel process in the same quality way they handle new custom home builds. They are currently offering customers all house additions, including basement finishes and remodels.



Syler also builds maintenance-provided living homes, adding, “We are currently wrapping up a 32-unit maintenance-provided villa community in Kearney, MO, and will also be working on more developments in the near future. Our team is unique as we specialize in commercial, residential, land development, and commercial leasing development.”

When asked about trends clients are leaning toward, he explained that with the pricing of homes increasing, they are requesting that the $1 million plus homes have a lot of bells and whistles! He shared, “We have created three-level packages to provide a bulk discount for homeowners.”



As Syler looks toward the future, he sees endless possibilities for growth and expansion, and is currently branching out into Olathe, Overland Park, Lee’s Summit, and the Raymore area. They have new developments in the works in Kearney, Liberty, Kansas City, and Smithville areas of Missouri, as well as plans to continue building in prestigious neighborhoods like Montebella, The Greens of Shoal Creek, Eagle Pointe at Shoal Creek Valley, Davidson Farms at Shoal Creek, The Meadows of Greenfield, Staley Farms, Thousand Oaks, Creekside of KC, and Wildflower.
