If simple elegance in a master bathroom could be wrapped up and exquisitely presented with a bow, then this is how it would be delivered. The experts at Heartland Kitchen and Bath have taken this Deer Creek master bathroom from its former builder-grade status to a space that could definitely be the talk of the neighborhood.
Although not completely gutted during this remodeling project, this bathroom did enjoy a facelift to the vanity area, the tub and the shower. Instead of installing new flooring, the existing tile was completely re-grouted to give it a fresh, clean appeal. Relying on a strong taupe color throughout the space for personality, it is balanced in equal measure by the Windermere quartz by Cambria found in the countertops and on the deck enveloping the tub. Heartland also replaced the original oversized mirror with several smaller ones, breaking up the space while simultaneously adding a decorative accent. The vaulted ceiling helped to leverage the design details.
“The ceiling was already in place and we just closed it up a bit, adding the chandelier which works great with the high ceiling,” expressed Barringer Hansel, co-owner of Heartland Kitchen and Bath.
The lighted cabinets stately standing on each side of the vanity give a cozy place to display something decorative for that perfect touch while not allowing it to overwhelm the space, while the oversized Euro-style shower stands confident with 3/8” thick glass and the tile within matches the flooring for subtle continuity. Additional accents are found in the sconces flanking the mirrors, which partners well with the added wainscoting.
“This bathroom definitely has a ‘wow’ appeal to it now,” stated Hansel.
With its timeless and casually elegant appeal, this master bathroom offers a welcoming retreat at the end of a long day.
