The word custom home is something many builders pride themselves on. James Engle Custom Homes, LLC (JECH) has a string of satisfied clients since they came into being in 2000 with several being repeat clients.

It’s not uncommon that James Engle Custom Homes LLC has repeat customers. For Steve Vick it was an easy decision who he would trust for his personal homes.

“I’ve built multiple homes with James Engle Custom Homes, and I’ve had great experiences with each build including my most recent home which is under construction,” Vick noted. “I’m in the construction industry myself and I can appreciate the dedication that Engle gives each home they build.”

Relationships are important to JECH, and the systems they have in place have contributed to these relationships. They focus on the satisfaction of each homeowner, and every employee operates from a solid foundation of integrity, trust and passion for what they do.

They know from square one that efficiency is key. As the building environment constantly evolves, they are always willing to meet the demands, the desires, and any speed bumps that may arise. They stand beside each client to ensure a smooth and seamless transaction that results in a lifetime of memories.

A communication portal is available round the clock

Each project is personally addressed, and the online portal assures no detail is missed, from scheduling, product selections, home costs, options and more. They can even customize their home digitally.

With an in-house architect and personally appointed selection coordinators, JECH crafts each home to exacting standards, so that no two homes are alike. While the company has a vast portfolio of plans available, each one is uniquely customized to the client’s liking.

Keeping pace with ever-changing lifestyles and markets

Building a custom home means giving yourself something that truly reflects your lifestyle. In recent years, that has translated to myriad changes in the way people live in their homes and the locations they choose.

“The Kansas City metropolitan market has changed in the last several years offering our clients additional locations that weren’t an economical option just a short time ago,” noted Jim Engle, Company CEO. “Areas North of I-435 including Prairie Village, Leawood, Fairway, The Waldo Area and other urban areas in KCMO have become options; however, having an experienced builder with an in-house architect is key to a successful build for infill or teardown type projects. Both of which James Engle Custom Homes LLC offers.”

James Engle is embracing the quaint neighborhood nostalgia of historic Waldo in Kansas City, expressing that his talented team is flexible in the style and size of home they are capable of building.

In the areas North of I-435, they are starting to focus on the tear down rebuild market, which allows them to maintain the trees and history, while building a “new” home in the same spot as the one torn down.

“We have a few 950 – 1,600 square foot homes in Waldo that we are building. They are very charming, cozy and well-received,” he noted. “It’s a new market for us. These are ideal for first-time home buyers who prefer new homes in charming older areas. We are also still actively building in new subdivisions including our new mid-century modern ranch model home in Century Farms.”

James Engle Custom Homes is currently building in Waldo, Century Farms, Chapel Hill, Arbor View, Mills Ranch, Prairie Village, Leawood, Fairway and Timber Rock.
