When a distinguished former cabinet maker sets his sights on building new homes, the end result is nothing short of amazing. With more than 35 years in the home construction arena, Daniel “Danny” Graham, owner of the award-winning Graham Homes, has developed a solid reputation for excellence in building, along with his natural ability to make the process exciting, enjoyable, and as stress-free as possible for his clients. His underlying philosophy is simple, yet enduring.

“We deliver what people need,” he emphasized. “We know exactly what we are doing, and we care about each and every client and each and every project.”

While Graham has taken Oak Grove, Missouri by storm, developing myriad subdivisions throughout the area, one in particular is certainly turning heads: Cedar Ridge Heights. Now in its second of three exciting phases, this cozy bedroom community invites homeowners to enjoy a tranquil and peaceful existence in an idyllic slice of what could easily be called true wilderness living

At Cedar Ridge Heights, homeowners can appreciate secluded privacy on fully-wooded estate sized homesites with mature hardwood trees as they create their own little escape among nature. It will offer all the privacy of the country with all of the city utilities and conveniences within arm’s reach.

“This is the perfect place to live if you don’t necessarily want to be right in the city but you do want to be close to hospitals and shopping,” said Graham, indicating Blue Springs is just minutes away and to get to downtown Kansas City is only about a 25-minute drive. “This area is a well-kept secret. In fact, many of the homebuyers come here from out-of-town and even out-of-state. People love it here.”

Graham’s seasoned portfolio of home designs offers an array of flexible open floor plans with superb outdoor views. Within Cedar Ridge Heights, Graham’s emphasis is on ranch style designs, with an average of 1,600 – 2,000 square feet on the main level. Each home features an expansive kitchen, a walkout basement, a screened-in deck, a three-car garage, and hardwood floors throughout. Homeowners are also welcome to install an out-building on their property, which must follow some minimal restrictions.

“This is a great place to build a wood shop or a storage shed,” noted Graham. “There is enough wooded area to allow the buildings to blend in with all of the fully grown trees, many of which are 100+ years old.”

With such a strong emphasis on the native surroundings, Cedar Ridge Heights does have restrictions on the trees with respect to how much a homeowner can fence in and still protect the wildlife.

“It is not uncommon to see a lot of deer, foxes and birds out here,” said Graham.

Graham takes a solid, hands-on approach to each project and remains fully invested in each home he builds. Known for his friendly and approachable demeanor, clients quickly come to realize Graham is an honest, reliable, and hard-working builder who focuses on delivering a quality product partnered with superior craftsmanship and affordable price points.

“I am very connected to my job,” he noted. “I am on each job site daily and work directly with the homeowners so they can have full confidence in me and in the building process.”

While Graham may refer to himself as a “modest sized company” among many building companies in town, he operates from a level of intended growth and has future plans to develop more of his own communities and subdivisions. However, Graham will never lose sight of his first priority: his customers.

“I listen to my clients and make sure I fully understand what they want in terms of the home they desire,” he noted. Graham excels not only at his trade, but also at building relationships with his clients, ensuring the entire process of building a home is relaxed and serene. After all, a Graham home should always be known as a comfortable place to be.

While Graham shows most of his homes himself and is a highly integral part of the design process, he will be working with the Groves Johnston Real Estate Team with from ReeceNichols in Blue Springs throughout the second phase of this subdivision.
