The publication kicked off 2017 with Hot Kitchens in its January/February issue. This dynamic issue gathered huge exposure and many celebrated at the Launch Party, held at Kitchens & Baths by Briggs with Kansas City’s own music performer Drew Six. The March/April issue featured the couple who owns this year’s Symphony Designers’ Showhouse sharing with their readers what drew them to this home and taking them on a tour before the incredible transformation. Due to popular demand, the issue was restocked in all Hen House, HyVee, and select Price Chopper stores. Additionally, the issue showcased the Top Homes of 2017, featuring Braklow Custom Homes, J.S. Robinson, Lambie Custom Homes, Starr Homes, Suma Design, Todd Hill Homes, James Engle Custom Homes, ACM, Wynne Homes and Graham Homes. The launch event of the issue was March 28th at the famed Gaslight Grill with the Lynn Zimmer Jazz Band. KCH&S was honored to produce this year’s Kansas City Symphony Alliance’s Designers’ Showhouse official program. Celebrating the 48th annual tour, area designers poured their hearts and talents into this home, located in historic Hyde Park. The magazine hosted a private evening tour at the home. With Memorial Day approaching that means pool time is coming and this issue will show a pool that you’ll want to dip your toes in. The magazine announced the May issue SOLD OUT in record time, so this is one you’ll not want to miss reading.
Space remains available in the June issue which introduces the 2017 StyleMakers, a special showcase of companies that make a difference by adding style to your life. The issue also tours an area lake home designed for the lazy days of summer and an indoor/outdoor room your home can’t be without. The magazine is planning a summer party in June to celebrate the launch of this issue.
Right on its heels, is the ever popular July/August issue. As readers sip on a glass of wine and relax in their favorite outdoor chair, they will visit two incredible backyard oases that dreams are made of. A surprise location for the issue’s launch party will prove to be an amazing event. As summer progresses, the magazine will take an exclusive look into HGTV’s House Hunters episode that has its roots right here in the metro.
The October issue is the highly-anticipated look at the home of America’s favorite couple from The Bachelor in Paradise, Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper. The ever-popular Stars and Real Estate Executives special sections are returning later in 2017 – watch for more details. Celebrations will be at the infamous Gaslight Grill.
Come September 16th, KCH&S will once again join the fight against ALS as their Stars team will Walk-to-Defeat ALS. They invite all to walk with them, physically or virtually, to help find a cure for this devastating disease.
